Doing good while doing business

Introduction

“Access to a secure, safe and sufficient source of fresh water is a fundamental requirement for the survival, well-being and socioeconomic development of all humanity. Yet, we continue to act as if fresh water were a perpetually abundant resource. It is not.” – Kofi Annan

At Bigen Africa, we think smarter about infrastructure development – and our solutions span the entire life-cycle of water cycle projects. We combine integrated and sustainable development partnerships which gives our clients the advantage of, not only tailored infrastructure onsite, but sustainable projects in the context of their broader socioeconomic environment whilst aiming to improve the quality of life and meeting the millennium development goals.

Water-and-sanitation

Our Value Proposition

Bigen Africa integrates the entire value chain in a water and sanitation infrastructure development project through in-house capabilities and strategic partnerships – from project preparation through feasibility studies and implementation, construction supervision to on-going asset management.

We believe that the success of any cost effective and sustainable water and sanitation system starts with the true integration of four cornerstones of civil society and sustainable communities, namely, social, institutional, financial, and physical elements. Furthermore, we provide clients with a complete solution based on our intimate understanding of the water requirements of governments, local authorities, mines and industries.
